A planning process to lay the foundation for significant institutional expansion and reorganization that will improve and rationalize the campus.
Project Highlights:
- A relatively young institution, Berklee is a world leader in postsecondary musical education and has seen its popularity with students soar in recent years.
- Goody Clancy is helping Berklee prepare for significant growth and change through an inclusive process that will yield its first master plan. The plan will formulate alternatives for increasing on-campus housing, building a sense of place, strengthening a feeling of community for an institution now scattered across three neighborhoods, and providing a stronger public image for the school.
- Goody Clancy is also guiding Berklee through Boston’s complex planning and development review process for institutions. This entails a widely inclusive public participation process designed to win community support for the master plan.
