Last week, Lisa Ferreira and Elyse King joined women-led project team to introduce the students of the Winsor School, an all-girls independent school, to their future science wing. Beyond presenting renovation plans, they shared their own career journeys in architecture and construction—sparking curiosity and inspiring the next generation of women to consider the roles they might play in shaping the built environment.

As project architect and manager, Elyse spoke about leading the design team and coordinating with engineers to realize the design vision. Lisa shared renderings and video walkthroughs of the future space, sparking excitement among students. As Principal-in-Charge, she also discussed her role in guiding programming and design coordination to bring the project to life.
This project is especially meaningful because it’s not just about designing a space—it’s about inspiring the next generation. Engaging with Winsor students and seeing their curiosity about the process was incredibly rewarding.![]()
