Growing up with an architect uncle and engineer father, Alicia has always been fascinated by everything that goes into the creation of buildings. Family trips to Europe exposed Alicia to a wide range of cultures and architecture also left a great impression on her. As a designer, she feels particularly rewarded when parts of her design work come to life, especially student spaces that help young people learn, create, and achieve.
Alicia often assists with producing floor plans, 3D Modeling, detailing, and performing material research. Organized, detail-oriented, and unafraid to ask questions, she is constantly learning from her colleagues, and especially appreciates Goody Clancy’s approach to innovation, design freedom, and sustainability. Still at the beginning of her career, Alicia is as focused on helping her project team and becoming a better designer (and, one day, a great architect). A project she is proud to have contributed to is The Herring Family Entrepreneurial Leadership Village—a renovation/adaptive reuse of an existing conference center at Babson College.
In her spare time, Alicia enjoys reading: fiction, mystery, romance, and thriller novels especially. Off-hours, you may see her on the lanes; Alicia plays for team “Gutter Gang” in an amateur bowling league.
