David's "ah-ha" moment came at a young age when his father, a contractor, introduced him to architecture. David was amazed to learn about the architect’s role in materializing design ideas as legible drawings.

Today, David’s dual role as Project Architect and Project Manager has allowed him to engage with every facet of the architectural process, from concept design through construction administration. With a diverse range of skills, from 3D graphic representation to construction documentation, and a keen interest in material exploration, digital fabrication, and building assemblies, he brings enthusiasm and a tenacious detail-oriented approach to all his work.

David’s endless fascination with craft and the art of making extends beyond his work life; he also enjoys woodworking, furniture building, and cooking. You might also find him tandem bike riding with his dog or spending time in the mountains with his wife.

The most rewarding part of my work is cultivating synergies between Goody Clancy and our clients. Together we create shared visions for achieving a more sustainable future and improving the broader campus ecosystem.
