Jackey has always been immersed in the world of architecture. His father—a carpenter, electrician, plumber, welder, and construction manager—owns a Residential Improvement and Management Company, which exposed Jackey to the construction process at an early age. He credits HGTV for solidifying his interests and steering him toward attending a construction and engineering high school in Washington DC, allowing him to begin formally studying architecture at the young age of 15.

For Jackey, architecture is a means of creating community; he loves designing spaces where people are encouraged to engage and interact. He brings a range of skills to his work, including a positive, collaborative attitude; strong time management; active listening; and attention to detail.

Jackey is also a passionate collector of vinyl records (including a copy of Prince's Sign "☮︎" the Times) and a lover of Boomerang cartoons (The Flinstones and The Jetsons, especially).

As a recent graduate myself, I am driven to create spaces that I would have wanted as a student in college—spaces which support my academic pursuits as well as my physical and mental well-being.
