For as long as Kate can remember, she has been fascinated by the power of architecture to shape the human experience. She started measuring floor plans for imaginary clients when she was 11. Over time, the complexity of her clients’ needs grew, and her relationship to the work evolved—but Kate’s passion for design hasn’t wavered.
Known for her warm spirit, keen editorial eye, and ability to tackle complex challenges, Kate is a strategic thinker who leads the firm’s business development and marketing efforts. She also works to encourage internal knowledge sharing, helping Goody Clancy to be a true learning organization. She’s proud to work alongside like-minded colleagues committed to helping educational clients create a healthier and more equitable planet.
Kate lives with her husband and two pre-K daughters in a circa-1880 home in Somerville, MA, that they are slowly (oh so slowly) renovating. She has held 43 jobs in her life—including park ranger, construction worker, ice cream truck driver, and lighting technician—and once biked across the United States, even though her mom told her not to.
